Last Updated: May 2026

Welcome to DOT (“During Our Trip”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how DOT collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and services. By using DOT, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. About DOT

DOT is a social travel coordination platform that allows train travelers to discover other travelers on similar routes, coordinate seating arrangements, and optionally communicate before or during their trip. DOT is not a transportation provider, ticketing platform, or identity verification service.

2. Eligibility

DOT is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. By using DOT, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

4. User Interactions

DOT allows users to voluntarily interact with other travelers. Any communication, friendship, networking relationship, or exchange of contact information between users is entirely voluntary and solely at the users’ discretion. DOT does not encourage, require, or guarantee continued interaction after any trip.

5. Safety Disclaimer

DOT does not perform identity verification of users. Train ticket purchases on NRC platforms may already require identity information such as NIN, but DOT does not independently verify identities, criminal records, or personal backgrounds. Users are responsible for exercising personal judgment and caution when interacting with others. DOT is not responsible for the actions, conduct, behavior, statements, or safety of users during or after trips.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no platform or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Third-Party Services

DOT may rely on third-party services for analytics, notifications, hosting, artificial intelligence processing, authentication, payment, or ticketing integrations. DOT is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

8. Content Moderation

DOT reserves the right to remove content, suspend accounts, restrict access, or investigate activity that violates our Terms of Service or applicable laws.

9. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data, subject to applicable legal obligations or legitimate operational requirements.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of DOT after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
